Owlcat Games is expanding the universe of their Warhammer 40,000 RPGs. The developer recently shared new trailers showcasing fresh companions for both Rogue Trader and the upcoming Dark Heresy. Whether you are a seasoned veteran of the grim dark future or a newcomer, these new allies bring unique skills and backstories to your warband.
A Lethal Soldier for Dark Heresy
Warhammer 40,000: Dark Heresy introduces players to Haymar Devos. Coming from the treacherous Death World of Catachan, Haymar is a former elite member of the Astra Militarum. His upbringing on one of the most dangerous planets in the galaxy has made him a master of survival. In combat, Haymar is a versatile asset who excels in both close quarters fighting and ranged attacks, making him a lethal addition to any Inquisitorial acolyte’s team.
Tech-Priest Power in Rogue Trader
For fans of Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader, a new ally named Eogunn Februs is arriving as part of the third DLC, The Infinite Museion. Eogunn is a Tech-Priest Manipulus and Genetor Extremis belonging to the mysterious Xenarite sect. Guided by cold logic and a hunger for forbidden knowledge, he provides essential battlefield support. He can drain Motive Force from enemies to empower his own attacks or boost his allies.
Exploring the Grim Dark Future
These two titles offer very different ways to experience the Warhammer 40K setting. Dark Heresy puts you in the role of an Inquisitorial acolyte investigating threats during the Noctis Aeterna event. This title is currently in development for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
Meanwhile, Rogue Trader lets you lead a massive ship through the Koronus Expanse. As a Rogue Trader, your choices have massive ripple effects across the galaxy. The game is already available on PC, Mac, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2. With The Infinite Museion and another expansion planned for 2026, there is plenty of content left to discover.
